Tiled Maps lets you carry the world with you, even when you're out of network range. Build your own maps using the TMS standard or download zipped TMS files from MapKnitter.org and load your iOS device up before you hit the road. Tiled Maps can show you your exact location on the map and even orient the map to which ever way you're facing.

1. Create Create your TMS maps. We recommend MapTiler, or for batch processing check out GDAL2Tiles, which is part of GDAL. If you use MapTiler make sure you pick "Spherical Mercator" on the first page. |

2. Compress Compress your map folder into a Zip archive. On most operating systems you simply right-click and choose the compress/archive action from the menu. |

3. Copy Copy your zip file to your iOS device using the Apps tab in iTunes |
